Introduction to Spray Foam

This course provides an introduction to spray polyurethane foam insulation, also called SPF, including health and safety related to the chemicals, general guidance and the jobsite.  

We begin by answering the question, What is SPF? including a discussion of the history of spray foam and an overview of the raw materials.

Then we discuss the types of spray foam insulation and their physical properties.

We also discuss how SPF is made, the chemical reactions and spray foam quality.
