How to Start Your Year Off Right

Over the last few weeks we discussed how I became a spray foam expert and the three-step process that I used: Knowledge, Action, Repetition.

I am sure that as you analyze this closely, you will realize that by applying these steps you can learn anything and even become an expert yourself.

But being an expert is only part of a much larger battle.

To win at the game of life, you have to be consistent, over a long period of time, not only to become an expert, but also for the advantages of being an expert to pay off.

Right now, a week and a half into the new year, is a good time to consider what you are trying to accomplish and how you plan to get there.

To start your year off right, you must have goals that you are focused on and that you act on every day.

If you started the year with a New Year’s Resolution, I applaud you for your self-evaluation, desire to become better and identifying something that you want to change. But I recommend a shift in thought process. Rather than a New Year’s Resolution, I suggest cultivating a habit of setting GOALS.

Over the first few months of 2017 you will be tested. Your commitment, your determination and your discipline will be the difference between astounding, audacious, ridiculous success and cracking under pressure.

Statistics say, by the end of February, about 35% of people that made a resolution have already given up and that number will continue to increase.

On the other hand, concrete, solid goals, that are written down will keep you more focused and improve your chances of success.

If you have already set your 2017 GOALS, great.

If you started the year with a resolution, that’s a good start, but it needs to go deeper.

If you have not created your goals or have not planned for 2017, now is the time to do it. START NOW!!!

Most people focus on their business goals, but do not limit this to business.

Do you want to become a better person?

Do you want to have a better family life?

Do you want to improve your personal finances?

Plan for it and be intentional.

If you still need to create your goals, start brainstorming now. What do you want to achieve in 2017?

Over the next few weeks I will show you how to turn your dreams and desires into goals.
